Like many iconic Las Vegas stories, ours began with Elvis. In 1969, his manager enlisted Dick Geary to promote the King’s shows, launching The Geary Company.
From there, we quickly moved beyond entertainment. Over the years, we’ve partnered with clients across real estate, media, dining, finance, automotive, sports, tourism, public service, and more. Our work has supported both major brands and local nonprofits, all while staying rooted in the spirit of Las Vegas.

From Humble Beginnings to Nationwide Reach
In July, Dick Geary meets Elvis’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker, and launches The Geary Company with Elvis as the first client. By fall, the first office opens on Oakey Blvd near today’s Luv-It Custard.
Geary is incorporated by attorney Bill Boyd, as the company thrives with celebrity and showbiz clients.
Geary moves to Commercial Center and secures exclusive rights for Las Vegas taxi cab advertising.
New offices open on Industrial Road, complete with wall carpet and a jukebox for client tunes.
Teenage Jim McKusick takes over cab advertising duties, recruiting younger brothers Mike and Danny for help.
Geary buys and merges with Graphic Art Services to expand creative capabilities.
Jim McKusick joins full time, charged with finding new business and creating big ideas.
Mike Geary joins to manage production and specialize in video work.
Dan Geary joins accounting, later launching a D.C. career and founding Proof Interactive (he returns in 2023).
